Journey from dream to reality

Mritunjay Kumar as a child had a dream of becoming an actor. But never in his imagination  thought of actually accomplishing it. Once you have a dream you fight for it despite of every obstacle. Pursuing this path wasn’t a simple walk in a park for him.

He struggled day in and out for becoming what hr is today.

On asking about his journey he says, "I came to Mumbai in 2007 to kickstart my career.I wanted to do a movie but getting onto it was way really difficult whereas I made contacts but was never successful in getting a movie.

Fortunately enough I got to work under Irrfan Khan, and I observed him practically to learn the skills. We were to do a movie together but due to his health issues we couldn’t due to all these ups and  downs I couldn’t get my hands on to something Which was Really artistic and magical."

To make himseld a renowned and known face he did a movie but It again went unsuccessful.

So further he realised that he should be trying something else in the same field to get closer towards his dream.

Thenafter he started working as an EP But that also turned out to be futile. So,  finally decided to go back to Delhi and do his business but an artist inside him wasn’t happy doing and that was feeling like living a meaningless life for him. The satisfaction was missing as it seemed he was wasting his time so along with hestarted acting for 2 hours to satiate his inner soul.

Soon after he realised that it wasn’t about the acting alone it was about his own personal happiness.

So, talking to a very close friend of Mritunjay,  Rajkumar Rao about continuing it again, he guided him like his own brother and followed his steps and tips whole heartedly.

When he worked as an EP he used to observe each and every actor. The delegates, the shots and the way things are to be done in front of camera and used to participate in the discussion with whole cast and the director after the pack up to brush up his own skills and as they say hard work pays off. Then after sometime by all his hard work and God Grace he got his major break as the second lead of the movie called “dhed bhiga zameen”.

He said, "It is such a proud moment for me the time I had been waiting for years, now it’s just the starting of it. Hailing from Patna’ and making it to Bollywood is a big achievement for me. I am eagerly waiting for my movie.

It’s just the starting of it there is more to come."
